L.A. County is in the worst shape I have ever seen. We cannot afford to lose more public safety workers. They are the difference between making money and not making money.
When you have a sheriff, a judge and a jailer, you have a strong foundation to build a better world. It’s not that we don’t need good people with good hearts, but that we need a new sheriff and a better judge. We don’t need two more sheriffs to do the same thing as the previous nine.
Cedillo and Nury, you’re two of the most racist people in the history of the L.A. County Board of Supervisors. You could get your own special hell that would make you forget everything you did.
When I went to the Los Angeles County Fair, I was appalled at the treatment of all the Latino families there, where they had to wait an hour for a bench to be set up next to the water fountain. I have personally been waiting to get a bench set up to get something to drink for 15, 20 minutes.
I can’t believe the county can’t see what is going on, so how can we expect them to pay attention to racist remarks by one of their own?
Kevin De León is the worst of the worst. He calls the people coming into the county jails “dumb,” “lazy” and “loser.” This man has done nothing but talk crap and try to hurt Hispanics. I’ve seen the people he has spoken to in the jails and in interviews with the media, and they are just like any white man. They are angry, frustrated and don’t respect anybody.
