Cody Bowers, 34, was driving east on W. 13th Street around 9:45 p.m. with his vehicle in a turn lane, said Omaha Police Department spokeswoman Trish Dalton. As he drove south, Bowers struck a car that was stopped and waiting for traffic to pass, Dalton said.
